From the Pastor's Heart

Church Family,

2 Corinthians 6:2b-3 says, "Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. We put no obstacle in anyone's way, so that no fault may be found with our ministry." Church, today is the day of salvation! And what that means, is that until Christ comes back, the opportunity is open for the lost to come to know Him. Now our job is fairly simple: share the gospel and remove any obstacles! Removing obstacles does not mean denying truth in any shape or form, but rather, you should reflect on the things you say and do that could unnecessarily turn someone off to listening to the gospel. God forbid we place obstacles in the way of someone coming to know the King of Kings.

As for announcements, this Saturday is the Fostering the Family "Run, Walk, and Roll" Event! The registration packets are available for pickup starting at 8:30 am, and the walk begins at 9am. So come on out and join in the fun! Also, don't forget to create an account and join the portal so that you can see the different Foster Care needs that come up in our county. You can sign up for that here (Remember, choose Anderson county in the drop down box that says TEAM/EVENT): https://meettheneed.org/account-link.php?organizationId=584056&orgtemp=584056&affiliateConnectId=584056

Second, I know most people probably use their phones, but just a reminder that time change happens this weekend! We will be springing forward, so we will be losing an hour of sleep. So if you aren't using your phone for an alarm clock, then make the shift so you don't miss church! Remember, Sunday morning is a Saturday night decision.

Finally, remember that we will not have our children's meeting on March 15, but instead, it will be on the Saturday before Easter, April 19th. So if you work with any children below the age of 18 in any capacity, then please try to be there. Thank you!

With that, I'll see you on Sunday!
