From the Pastor's Heart

Church Family, 

 

Psalm 144:1 says, "Blessed be the LORD, my rock, who trains my hands for war, and my fingers for battle." You know, God is our rock and our fortress. He is the One in whom we find refuge and security. However, he also expects to take part in the warfare, and He is training us for it! And what better way for us to go into battle against sin and satan, knowing we are tethered irreversibly to the LORD who conquers all! So be diligent today believer and don't be afraid to enter into the fight!

 

As for announcements, the Thanksgiving Fellowship Meal will be on November 24 right after the morning service. So please don't forget to sign up to bring a side and make plans to join us for that meal! It's always a great time of fellowship. 

 

Then that evening of the 24th we will be downtown for Heart4Anderson. During this time we will be giving out the clothing and different items to those in need. Don't forget to bring any items that you may want to donate to this cause. 

 

Finally, remember that we do have angel tree names available now, and the presents for those children will be due on December 4th. So please consider taking a name on Sunday and blessing a child/family that is in need this Christmas season.
